Padar Island
The three-bay viewpoint. A real climb, and best done before the heat.

DRAGON TREKS ยท ISLAND DAYS
Your own boat, your own departure time, and a trailhead reached before the day fleet gets there.
Arrange a Private DayA private tour buys one thing above all: the first departure of the day, which is the difference between a quiet trail and a queue behind forty people.
A private day, in order
Times are the point. This is the sequence we book toward.
Harbour departure around first light. You reach Padar or the ranger station while the day boats are still loading.
Ranger-led on marked trails at a set distance. Rinca is closer and quieter; Komodo island is the longer crossing.
Pink Beach or a reef stop while the light is high and the trails are busy.
Return when you want to, not when the shared boat fills. Sunset from the deck if the weather holds.
Weather moves this order more often than anything else. A private boat is what lets it move.
What a day can hold
Four that earn their place in a single day. More than four and you are rushing all of them.
The three-bay viewpoint. A real climb, and best done before the heat.
Ranger-led dragon trek. Rinca is closer, quieter and just as good for sightings.
Crushed red coral in the sand, and a decent snorkel straight off it.
Weaving traditions arranged with the community rather than around it.
Send your dates and party size. We will book the boat that leaves before the others do.
